JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Displays thorough understanding of venue’s menu, specials, promotions, operations, layout, hours, location and area attractions.
- Follows company policies, procedures and programs.
- Responsible for daily restaurant operations.
- Directly supervising hosts, servers, bartenders, bar backs and bussers.
- Follows the employment process for all hourly associates, including training, corrective measures & disciplining.
- Assists in the training and development of all hourly associates. Works closely with all managers to identify needs and provide appropriate training to associates with management and supervisory potential.
- Maintains close contact with the Restaurant General Manager, to keep abreast of planned functions, room occupancy, maintenance needs and problems, and to coordinate activities.
- Maintains customer first mentality by ensuring quality of service, food, beverage, ambiance and atmosphere; resolves customer complaints.
- Opens and Closes out associates and ensures associates are preforming opening and closing duties at the end of the shift. Also approves associates closing checkouts for accuracy.
- Inspect restaurant daily to ensure that housekeeping, sanitation, security and safety standards are met.
- Reports all repairs or recommends repairs to the Restaurant GM.
- Directs and assigns restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards 
- Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests 
- Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of High School education 
Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
Certification in bartending preferred
Alcohol awareness certification preferred
