Role Overview

 

The Maison Host plays a crucial role in welcoming clients to the Maison is the client’s first point of contact when entering the boutique.  The Maison Host will receive all incoming guests into the boutique, by confirming appointments, introducing, and escorting clients to their appointed Sales Associate and answering any initial questions about the Maison.  This role will assist in delivering the luxury experience, providing outstanding customer service, and conveying passion for the brand during every interaction.

 

Responsibilities

 

The ideal Maison Host candidate will have outstanding communication and customer service skills.  The individual will be charismatic, who enjoys working in a professional luxury jewelry and watch retail environment who is career focused. This person is required to greet customers in a timely, professional, and engaging manner, gracefully direct everyone who enters the boutique to the appropriate Sales Associate or Manager and handle inbound calls.  The role will be to provide written responses to customers’ inquiries via Email and Chat and handle a wide variety of customer inquiries, such as hours of operations and questions about the repair process.  The Maison Host will also accommodate and intiate the Beverage Service for any guest entering the boutique.

 

A Maison Host will be asked to respect all protocols defined by Management and Corporate regarding the client experience and to uphold the Van Cleef & Arpels image by always maintaining a professional demeanor and following the Service Charter.

 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, in a Fashion, Retail or related field and/or one year working in retail/contact center/customer service environment
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for luxury fashion/retail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
