We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) who shares our passion for resident-centered care and values mentorship and leadership in the nursing profession. Join us and be supported by a seasoned, hands-on regional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the operations of the Nursing Services Department.

• Develop comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans for residents.

• Lead and inspire the nursing team through coaching, support, and performance management.

• Oversee departmental budgeting for staffing, supplies, and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in a long-term care setting.

• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.

• Foster a collaborative and resident-focused environment across all care teams.

• Perform other duties as needed to support clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.

• BSN preferred, but not required.

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) strongly preferred; will consider leadership experience in hospital or related healthcare settings.

• Strong knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

• Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive quality outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
