The LinQuest Hiring our Heroes program is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through a 12-week internship program during their last 180 days

You will be joining a team of professionals and providing your unique viewpoints and skills, with opportunities to gain valuable experience and exposure to government Subcontracting

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the entry of indirect and direct PO’s to ensure CPSR compliance, FAR/DFAR and legal guidelines
• Draft Request for quotes and negotiate pricing and lead time with suppliers
• Supports the Purchasing team by participating in a variety of activities and training
• Prepare and maintain Purchasing files in accordance with internal processes
• Tracks orders and provides status and to ensure on time delivery
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required

Required Skills and Experience:

• Supply Chain preferred but not required
• Purchasing preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft office programs
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills
• The ability to obtain a security clearance is required
