Head of Public Sector Sales - DACH - m/f/d

The Head of Public Sector Sales is responsible for building, managing and leading a  newly formed Public Sector sales team in the DACH region.

The right candidate will play a critical role in the creation and execution of a Public Sector Sales Segment (Team, Strategy, Systems & Process) to maximize the adoption of SoSafe within the Public Sector market.

Responsibilities

• Drive, manage and execute the business and revenue of the public sector sales team
• Hire, develop, coach and train a team of digital, corporate and enterprise sales executives
• Educate the team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing
• Prepares forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans
• Establish and reports on metrics to measure team performance and course correct where necessary
• Supports quotation and proposal efforts to partners, prospects and customers
• Ensures that the public sector sales plan is aligned with and supports the overall revenue goal

Requirements

• Demonstrated progressive sales management, selling software into the public sector in the DACH region
• Demonstrated progressive experience as an individual contributor selling software the public sector
• Have a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets and measurable goals
• Must be a skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach and develop account executives
• Experience with procurement and the various buying vehicles used in the public sector
• Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of Salesforce, Clari is highly desirable
• Experience with partner recruitment, enablement and on going support
• Exceptional knowledge of public sector infrastructure and agencies
