Purpose
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will administer human resources policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. Promote equity, fair treatment, and positive employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws. Provide guidance to management and employees on human resources policies and employment law, and assist in the development of new programs and initiatives to meet management needs. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with staff and leaders to cultivate a culture centered on Neighborcare Health’s Core Values and Service Commitments. Provide comprehensive HR support, and pro-active issue/problem identification and resolution. Understand and support the accomplishment of business priorities. Exercises independent judgment in resolving complex employee relations matters and escalates issues with significant legal, compliance, financial, or organizational risk as appropriate. May act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Compensation:
- The target wage range for this position is $113k to $159k annually.
- Final offers are individually based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job-related reasons.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform advanced employee and labor relations functions including contract interpretation, support and counseling regarding personnel and job-related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution, counseling leaders and employees on performance issues, and review and assessment of termination requests, workforce needs, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.
- Ensure company policies are administered fairly and consistently.
- Conduct complex/sensitive employee related investigations.
- Coordinate the administration of Leave of Absence programs and processes including transitional work and accommodations while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Provide guidance regarding FMLA, PFML, ADA, PWFA, workers' compensation, and other protected leave programs.
- Support execution of annual salary compensation administration, market reviews, pay equity initiatives, salary structure maintenance, and annual merit and incentive programs.
- Conduct employee and supervisor training including benefits, policies and procedures, and prevention of harassment and discrimination.
- Anticipate and plan for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management.
- Effectively communicate and execute necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and provide payroll support.
- Ensure timely and accurate entries to the HRIS database.
- Perform audit and compliance functions as requested on items such as audit reports verification, commission reports, and payroll information.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Make recommendations to improve HR work processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience
- Minimum (7) years’ progressively responsible experience in Human Resources.
- Ability to utilize HRIS technology platforms, reporting tools, and data analytics to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with L&I and managing accommodation requests
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Community Healthcare setting with multiple locations
