Accounting Clerk

Summary

Enters AP for different locations and keep those records organized and current. Code freight and other bills as needed. Data entry for inventory and P&L record keeping. Various other duties and assigned. 

 

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, code, enter, and pay various AP bills.
• Print, interpret, and input inventory information for record keeping. 
• File paid invoices in an organized fashion. 
• File AR invoices in an organized fashion. 

 

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 

Experience Requirements

2 -4 years related experience. Requires Excel and Word skills.  Must be very organized, high level of productivity with ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.  Must demonstrate a professional attitude and strong work ethic.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.  Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
