Cargill, Incorporated seeks a full-time Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst based in Wayzata, MN. The Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst position is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies in line with business and account strategies and market conditions, leading RFP processes for key customers, providing insight into strategic pricing data, systems and tools, and being a change agent with regard to value and market pricing structures.

 

This position requires

• a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business and Information Systems, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience.
• Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following:
  • (1) deploying Strategic Pricing capabilities and establishing processes;
  • (2) providing perspective, guidance, and training in understanding the business process implications to data, systems, and tools from a Strategic Pricing point of view;
  • (3) executing project scope according to business needs, defining product lines, developing timelines for implementation, and drafting statements of work specifying deliverables and expectations;
  • (4) developing and maintaining project plans, setting up margin structures, implementing a business pricing tool, communicating pricing policies to commercial team and monitoring pricing guidance success; and
  • (5) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Tableau, Sales Force, and segmentation tool (Excel based).
• All experience may have been gained concurrently.
• This position requires domestic travel up to 10% of the time.
