Position: Group Fitness Instructor

Location: Morgantown, WV

Type of Employment: Per Diem/PRN

Schedule: Hours vary as needed

Compensation: $25/hr

 

Healthworks is seeking a certified Group Exercise Instructor for our outpatient rehabilitation center. This is an excellent opportunity to serve our community by enriching their wellness tools through Fitness.

 

This is a Per Diem/PRN position that may include mornings and evenings based on our client's needs. Your enthusiasm and expertise in motivating individuals to reach their goals is most important. Seize the opportunity to provide preventative services and education that maximize functionality and promote the well-being of our patients and communities alike.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the group leader for various exercise classes.
• Maintains records, as required, for exercises classes led.
• Maintains cleanliness of the exercise site following classes.
• Some travel may be required.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

** Subject to limitations imposed by state/local/federal law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Or one to three months of related experience and/or training;
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience, including education leading to certification in various aspects of group exercise leadership.
