About the Role:
This person will manage and direct projects spanning new business development transactions to existing strategic alliance partnerships at all stages of the product life cycle (research, development, and commercial). This person will serve as the primary point of contact for multiple therapeutic programs and strategic relationships across geographic regions. The individual will help lead cross-functional internal and external program teams and manage communication to ensure that projects progress and meet pre-defined objectives and timelines. This person will be responsible for ensuring that both parties adhere to the terms of the partnership agreement. Additional responsibilities include helping to build the external communications platform to present the Company to potential new collaborators at key meetings and conferences._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
Develops and implements long-term strategic plans for the growth of the organization
Assists in the development of strategies for identifying and responding to business development opportunities, which may include internal expansion into new markets or external expansion via partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures
Works with the executive teams, including the strategic planning or mergers & acquisitions teams, to evaluate new business opportunities or assess potential markets
Collects and analyzes information that evaluates the organization's performance, strengths and weaknesses, and competitive landscape in order to identify new growth opportunities
Estimates business impact of strategic initiatives and prepares reports and recommendations for executive leadership teams
Proposes plans for leveraging organizational resources in order to capitalize on growth opportunities and tracks performance
Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures to make recommendations for new projects to be used fo
