About the role

The Role:
Minted is seeking an entrepreneurial Manager of Business Operations to join our team to help grow Minted’s flagship seasonal and children’s categories. 
As the Manager of Business Operations, you will be accountable for developing our physical product and shopping experience both online and offline. You’ll develop data-driven go-to-market strategies and lead new product launches that deliver the best in design to consumers and hit our sales and profitability targets.
Reporting to the General Manager of your category, you will help create the annual strategy for your business.  You will be the “customer expert” for the category, thoroughly understanding the consumer in the category, facilitating consumer research and driving product marketing and its implementation across all functional groups. 
You will be a business partner to our Product Management and Engineering teams in building critical scaling tools and online customer experiences, as well as to our Marketing and Operations teams in crafting compelling narratives and delivering best-in-class services. You will bring a scaling and operational mindsight to this business, ensuring that cross-functional teams can act with speed, while also solidifying and scaling key business processes that are critical to growing the business profitably. You will work in a highly dynamic environment and should enjoy rolling up your sleeves to deliver results resourcefully.

You Will:

  • Drive revenue growth in your category business, while ensuring profitability and scalability of the business. 
  • Analyze business results and partner with your Merchandising and Marketing peers to quickly take action to course-correct or scale positive drivers.
  • Lead promotional strategies and optimize pricing for margin and sales.
  • Own customer insights for the category, including qualitative and quantitative research, and develop an annual category strategy in partnership with the GM of the category. 
  • Act as a key business partner to Product Management and Engineering on ideating, prioritizing, building category feature requirements, testing the implementation of these features, and supporting them through go-to-market plans
  • Partner with your peers on the Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and NPS
  • Build the business case for new opportunities, sizing revenue potential and assessing brand/product/consumer fit 
  • Lead pricing recommendations and analysis
  • Participate in development of the category new product roadmap
  • Note: minimal travel required; role is based in San Francisco
