Tier 2 Technician Project Lead – IT Security & Cloud Deployments
Compensation: $75k-90k Based on Experience

We are seeking a Project Lead to oversee IT security and cloud deployment projects, helping clients transition to modern, secure infrastructures.

Position Overview
The Project Lead will be responsible for planning, deploying, and supporting Microsoft 365 security solutions, Azure migrations, and cybersecurity implementations. This role requires expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies, security best practices, and implementation best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to guide clients through complex IT transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of Microsoft Entra ID, Defender, and Conditional Access in M365 environments
  
• Manage and execute Azure deployments, migrations, and security implementations
  
• Work with the project manager and senior leadership to implement IT projects, while ensuring compliance with government contractor security standards
  
• Collaborate with clients to assess needs, design solutions, and implement best practices
  
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout project lifecycles
  
• Document project progress, system configurations, and security policies
  
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
  
• Stay updated on Microsoft security and cloud technologies to enhance service offerings

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, preferably in cloud security and MSP environments
• Required Certification: Microsoft MS-102
• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft SC-200, SC-300
• Experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 security solutions, Azure environments, and identity access controls
• Familiarity with IT security frameworks, compliance requirements, and secure network management
• Strong understanding of RMM, PSA, ticketing, and documentation systems (Datto, AutoTask, ITGlue preferred)
• Ability to work onsite as needed and travel locally
• US citizenship required for government contractor security compliance
