Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join PayPal’s Finance team supporting PayPal’s Consumer Credit products. In this position, you will be responsible for contributing to the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process for PayPal’s consumer credit portfolio. You will play a critical role in developing forecasts, conducting financial analysis, and providing analytical insights to drive strategic decision-making within the Consumer Credit organization.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support planning and forecasting processes
• Review business performance on regular cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly)Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs and summarize insights
• Produce executive-level presentations
• Work closely with the finance and technical teams to drive process and system improvements
• Facilitate discussions with various stakeholders, manage expectations, and collaborate cross-functionally
• Consult with finance leads to review and discuss key issues, risks, and dependencies for assigned initiatives
• Document and escalate potential risks/issues, assist in developing mitigation strategies, and support their implementation

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field). MBA, CFA, CPA are a plus.
• 3+ years of progressive FP&A/Finance career experience (corporate FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, PE, consulting) and a proven track record.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, fintech, banking, and/or lending preferred.
• Computer savvy with advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially with Excel and PowerPoint (VBA experience a plus)
• Demonstrated excellence in financial modeling (3 statement) and Excel.
• Self-starter and able to work with minimal guidance, with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Persistent curiosity, desire to learn, and eager to solve problems and improve processes.
• Strong data analysis skills, but also able to synthesize the big picture by identifying connections and relationships in data. SQL experience a plus.
• Technical competence with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Strong experience with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis
