Financial Systems Analyst 4

WEX Inc is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join the Process Improvement and Financial Systems Team. This role will be part of the Anaplan Center of Excellence,  partnering across FP&A, Finance Systems, HR, and IT to craft new functionality, support end user adoption, and champion process improvements. 

How you'll make an impact

• Collaborate closely with the systems team to quickly and efficiently problem solve for systems such as Anaplan 

• Be an Anaplan Center of Excellence leader, with the goal to build upon your existing Anaplan model builder abilities.

• Partner across FP&A, Finance Systems, HR, and IT to craft new functionality, support end user adoption, and champion process improvements

• Utilize problem solving and strategic thinking to refine and build a best in class forecasting tool

• Bring new ideas and approaches to problems in need of a different take. You’ll help us radically change how we forecast and what it looks like - bringing a broad skill set and unique perspective of the systems, processes, and end output 

• Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to address business requirements, translating them into practical operational solutions

• Drive scale by standardizing and improving methodologies across our Anaplan model landscape, maintenance processes, and documentation

Experience you'll bring

• Education: Bachelors of Science in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred. 

• License/Certification: CPA preferred

• Experience: 5-8 years of financial analysis experience, preferably at the corporate level of a publicly traded company. Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered. Interdisciplinary finance experience (treasury, tax, and accounting) or specific systems experience may supplement years of experience requirement

• Advanced experience with Anaplan, Certified Model Builder preferred  

• Advanced skills with Microsoft products including excellent Excel and Access skills

• Experience with automations tools  such as Alteryx, UI Path, Tableau a plus   

• Proactive and able to work independently yet can also work in a team environment

• Ability to work and achieve deadlines

• Results oriented

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $92,000.00 - $122,000.00
