Accounting Assistant 3- Accounts Payable (Remote)

Job Description

A day in the life…

• Research and analyze supplier accounts to ensure accurate payment processing.
• Process invoices and receipts efficiently, verifying amounts and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Communicate with Leadership as well as internal and external business partners with adequate follow-up
• Execute business processes/procedures according departmental and company practices, policies, and programs including SOX and Internal Control processes
• Provide training on processes or tasks and guidance to support the team, as applicable   
• Own and resolve moderately complex tasks and projects from start to finish using a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment 
• Process invoices accurately and/or deductions as well as determine how to correct and resolve incorrect processing
• Work independently as well as collaboratively, demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through relationship building and partnership
• Review practices and procedures, determine whether efficiencies or improvements can be made and assist with implementation with the team
• Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership, and initiative

You own this if you have…

• Prior experience with Oracle AP, Oracle AR and Discoverer a plus
• Passing score on the Financial Math Test
• Proficiency in 10-key
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• 1-2 years of equivalent training and job-related experience preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$18.50 - $32.50 Hourly

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
