About the role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing design and execution of facility projects by applying engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods in engineering practices. Experience planning, designing, constructing large and highly complex projects and systems by utilizing at least two or more engineering (Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Petroleum, and Industrial) principles, techniques, and procedures. Experience analyzing Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), OSHA, NFPA, American Petroleum Institute, and other industrial standards as they apply to a wide range of engineering requirements and problems. Experience coordinating and overseeing multiple construction projects involving complex engineering features and requirements. Experience exercising full technical authority over engineering projects by providing subject matter expertise in engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to mechanical facilities.
