We are looking for an on-call Food Server to join our in-room dining team at Aria! If you have prior experience in serving, food and beverage, or customer service roles, and excel in delivering top-tier guest service, we'd love to meet you!
THE JOB:
As a food server for the in-room dining team, you will warmly greet guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome and valued. You will demonstrate expertise in selling techniques and service delivery for all menu items, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of in-room dining tables to provide a seamless experience. Your responsibilities will include accurately itemizing bills, securing payments, and maintaining proper stock levels of assigned areas. Proactively anticipating guests' needs and effectively communicating with management, chefs, and culinary staff, you will ensure all requests and issues are promptly addressed.
THE STARTING RATE: $13.5902/hr plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome and valued during their in-room dining experience.
Demonstrate expertise in selling techniques and service delivery for all menu items, including appetizers, main courses, desserts, and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of in-room dining tables using a silent service approach to ensure a seamless and unobtrusive guest experience.
Accurately itemize bills and efficiently secure payment, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and proper stock levels of assigned areas, side stations, and Point of Sale (POS) stations.
Proactively anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly and appropriately with a sense of urgency.
Effectively communicate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to address and fulfill any guest or employee requests or issues.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Prior serving experience.
Prior customer service experience in a high-volume food and beverage setting.
Experience in a hotel/resort and/or luxury resort environment.
Describes themselves as detail-oriented, motivated, and a quick learner.
Demonstrates pride in their work.
Knowledgeable of Forbes and AAA standards of service.
Knowledgeable of computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems
Dedicated to providing the highest level of guest service.
Flexibility to work various hours/shifts as needed per on call requirements including weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, and overnight shifts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
Must be able to obtain alcohol awareness and food handlers card for the state of Nevada.
