Salesforce Technical Architect

Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to provide technical direction and leadership, define architecture and design options/solutions, drive architectural-”ilities”, and many other “connective tissue” things.
The work:
- Work with everyone from leadership to the business and clients, to Delivery Partners, to individual delivery team members, and to security and DevOps practitioners.
- Potentially work on multiple projects or support multiple teams in parallel, as well as support business development, proposal, and solution estimating activities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance (e.g. to clients, stakeholders, delivery partners, leadership, and teams)
- Partner with clients and leadership to define and document the challenges and desired outcomes, the risks and dependencies, and the vision and strategy
- Partner with clients and leadership to identify options, propose recommendations, provide justifications, gain alignment, capture decisions, and set a path forward to define the backlog items to get the work done
- Own technical architecture and design including plans, roadmaps, artifacts, deliverables, working sessions, and other activities
- Support Product Owner with product backlog and product roadmap refinement activities, as well as planning and prioritization activities
- Actively manage scope, expectations, and commitments
- Actively monitor and assess code quality, security, and technical debt
Here’s what you need:
- 5+ years experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
- 3+ years experience in configuration and custom development
- 3+ years experience in creating artifacts and deliverables including as-is vs. to-be technical documentation, diagrams, configuration workbook, Technical Design Document, etc.
- 3+ years experience in client-facing role
- 3+ years experience in working on agile delivery teams (e.g. with developers, testers, release and performance engineers, configurators, etc.) and providing leadership, direction, and support
Bonus points if you have:
- Salesforce.com Certifications
- You have experience working on large teams and complex projects
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $136,300 - $256,300
Colorado: $136,300 - $221,200
New York: $126,400 - $256,300
Washington State: $145,300 - $235,700
