SUMMARY OF POSITION
Under general supervision, performs technical tasks in the operation of the wastewater collection and/or stormwater system. Employees in this classification operate basic manhole inspection equipment, utilize GIS maps and possess basic knowledge of a CCTV (Push Camera).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Operates basic manhole inspection equipment.
• Assists in tracking equipment and materials used to complete paperwork and daily assignments.
• Speaks with customers and makes competent lateral repair decisions.
• Independently manage service requests, works orders and inspection within Cityworks. 
• Prepares work areas and secures job sites by setting up cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices
• Performs traffic control as needed
