Provides effective supervision of assigned staff including selection, performance management, employee relations, training, prioritizing and assigning work and related activities.
• Plans, organizes and directs Services staff and programs.
• Provides guidance and leadership in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as agency goals, and is reviewed through conferences and reports.
• Supervises, develops and evaluates Social Service Programs; directs Social Services in programs areas such as adoption, foster care, child and adult protective services, Children’s Services Act and VIEW program.
• Writes and revises program and operational policy of the Social Services Programs, in consultation with other program management staff.
• Participates in and leads special projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
