Senior Estimator – Renewable EPC Projects
Location: Overland Park, KS (Kansas City Metro)
About the Role:
We are seeking an Estimator to lead cost estimating and heavy bidding for large-scale renewable EPC projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in HeavyBid or Procore, and Excel, and is skilled in managing multi-year design and construction projects.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years estimating or project controls experience on EPC projects.
- Proficiency in HeavyBid or Procore, and Excel is required.
- Experience in renewable energy EPC projects (solar, wind, BESS).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for labor, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.
- Lead bid process for solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects.
- Track project costs, contracts, and documentation using Procore.
- Analyze and maintain cost databases, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to improve processes.
