About the role

We’re seeking a highly motivated General Ledger Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is a pivotal role with primary responsibility for managing the company’s general ledger and financial systems (NetSuite). Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll work closely with cross-functional finance team members and play a vital role in ensuring a timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial close. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, high-growth company with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
This role is onsite at our Mountain View, CA office!

What you'll do

• Support the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring financial statements are prepared accurately and in compliance with US GAAP
• Conduct cash forecasting and assist in managing day-to-day cash-related activities
• Support technical accounting projects and policy development
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of external financial audits
• Provide support for select FP&A activities, contributing to planning and analysis efforts
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare support for intercompany billings
• Process journal entries and NetSuite imports
• Assist in the drafting of certain accounting policies and procedures
• Perform quarterly and annual balance sheet and P&L flux analysis
• Manage the execution of tax filings, including sale & use/property tax, and local filings
• Conduct ad hoc research and special projects related to technical accounting and financial reporting matters
