Responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Prepare and finalize client's month end close and financial reporting for review. - Prepare and/or review work papers and schedules to ensure audit readiness. - Provide on-site services as requested and needed by tribal casino clients. - Participation in cross utilization of teams and/or lead software implementations, conversions and set-ups as assigned. - Review and train staff on balance sheet and income statement accounts, specifically gaming related. - Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their personnel. - Obtain client expectations from internal management team and develop plan to meet client expectations. - Assist with mentoring new staff and building the team as assigned.    

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required. - Public accounting experience e.g. outsourced accounting or audit preferred. - CPA certification preferred. - Experience with leading, developing and managing a team required. - 8+ years of experience with hands on full cycle accounting process including financial statement creation, preparation and review. - Experience working with gaming or casino enterprises required. - Required travel to client sites is 25%-35% (approximately 1-2 weeks per month).
