OVERVIEWThe Senior Analyst, FP&A, will report to the Director of Strategic Finance within the Finance and Accounting Org.
This role will be a key contributor in discovering insights, establishing and reporting on KPIs, and collaborating with all divisions of the organization to support the growth of the business.
A successful candidate will be able to support full P&L and balance sheet reporting and foster a process improvement mentality to drive the organization forward.
We’re seeking a self-starter, preferably with media experience, who can help support new and existing businesses with an inquisitive mindset and strong financial modeling skills.
Our positions are remote hybrid; however, we have a strong preference for employees who can work from our Morning Brew HQ in NYC.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON- Create sales reports (commissions, QBRs, activity, path to goal) to drive valuable insights across the organization.- Assist with month end close activities including operating expense reporting, accruals, and other entries.- Executive level presentation building, including reporting on the latest trends and overall business health.- Provide business oversight on ancillary revenue streams- Develop ad hoc financial models and KPIs to support growth for new business opportunities and existing relationships.- Critical analysis of audience and ad performance to improve our relationships with our advertising partners. Analysis of our audience (LTV, Engagement) will ensure efficient marketing monetization. - Enhance existing financial models, glean insights from existing KPIs and conduct weekly business analysis to inform decisions.- Provide continuous trend analysis of balance sheet, P&L, and other key business drivers to improve our forecasting capabilities.- Partner with revenue operations around packaging, sales activity and other data- Maintain, update and refresh weekly, monthly & quarterly financial reports- Work with the Accounting team to ensure financial results are reflected in a timely and accurate manner QUALIFICATIONS- 3 - 6 years of financial analysis experience- Media experience a plus- Continuous improvement mindset- Advanced excel skills / data modeling skills- Strong communication skills- Comfortable being autonomous- Consistent ability to meet deadlines- Confident asking questions- Netsuite experience a plus
COMPENSATION: $100-$120k base DOE*Final offers for this job will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided, commensurate with experience. Total offer package to include benefits highlighted under our perks section below.
