The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Functions as a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, continues to build competency in the provision of direct patient care. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.

PT positions available - 8, 10 hour shifts primarily days Monday through Friday.

In the pre/post-operative setting, qualified candidates will be responsible for meeting individual patient needs from pre-op to recovery by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Through collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team you will care for patients across the lifespan. The pre/post-op nurse will have an integral role in delivering high quality, safe, compassionate care to patients throughout their stay at Sawgrass Surgery Center (located in Brighton). Strong assessment, teamwork and interpersonal skills required.
