About the role

Company Description

The Hispanic Media Relations Senior Manager is responsible for the editorial communication of national and globally relevant stories from the World of Red Bull via our top Hispanic Media that Matter based in the U.S.

 

They select the relevant content, distribution tactics and fitting messages/topics to be communicated to consumers via our top U.S. and global Hispanic earned media outlets in Spanish. Moreover, they are a correspondent for the RBNA Media Network in SoFlo in identifying local stories that have national and global earned media potential for Hispanic media and working with the regional and network Communication Managers to uplevel their content and story angles for earned Hispanic media impact nationally and globally.

 

You will have the right combination of editorial story identification and media pitching experience, a strong network of relevant media contacts (U.S and Global), excellent project management skills and good partnership management skills to contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the RBNA Media Network

Job Description

DRIVE EARNED MEDIA COVERAGE

Identify and establish relationships with targeted national and international Hispanic-earned media.

Pitch national and globally relevant stories from the World of Red Bull to targeted national and global Hispanic-earned media partners weekly.

Develop and implement world-class media experiences and host national and global Hispanic-earned media partners as required.

 

INDUSTRY INSIGHTS AND KNOWLEDGE CREATION

Keep a keen eye on important trends and happenings of editorial media and journalism that impact the earned media strategies of Communication Managers across Red Bull North America.

Deliver earned media insights and knowledge resources based on direct conversations with editorial media partners and industry research.

Qualifications

A communication/public relations professional with an extensive media network in the U.S.

7+ years experience in Communications, PR, Marketing, or media-led companies.

A proven track record in leading projects and securing brand reach & engagement via earned media amplification.

Think strategically about positioning media initiatives to guarantee message pull-through to our target audience via earned media.

A story seeker that identifies those stories with a true media potential

7+ years of public relations/communications experience and demonstrated experience in media partnership management across various platforms

Leadership qualities and presentation skills

An agile team player that knows how to get the work done

Enthusiastic about sports, lifestyle, music and dance, and media

In addition to possessing a high level of creativity and critical thinking, one must have strong collaboration, execution, and organizational skills

Hands-on mentality to also support content management and reporting & analysis processes

An existing network of relevant contacts in national and global media organizations

Must have a valid US driver's license
