Resident Assistant - Full Time - St.Joseph Continuing Care Center Assisted Living - All Shifts (18224)

· Provides and documents personal care to assigned Residents in a manner conducive to the safety Policies and Procedures as well as state/federal guidelines and regulations.

· Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for Residents.

· Contribute knowledge of Residents' conditions and documents observations as required.

· Promote safe/clean environment.

· Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of Residents per established policies and procedures.

· Assure that equipment including mobile devices are charged, clean and functional at all times and report any malfunctions to supervisor.

· Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for Residents, visitors and staff.

· Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Network’s Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employee's responsibility to enforce it.

· Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Continuing Education:

· Attend in-service and educational programs.

· Ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing, and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff, patient families, and any outside customers in accordance with the Company’s HIPAA Policy.
