Summary
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner-Technical is an experienced technical recruiter whose primary responsibility is to source external technical candidates to support the recruiting strategy of the University. They are responsible for working with assigned technical hiring managers to plan, develop, and implement recruiting strategies to ensure high quality technical candidates are available as needed. Their expertise extends to managing complex recruitment projects, sourcing for specialized roles, influencing organizational goals, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams. Their active contribution enhances the overall success of Talent Acquisition at the University.
Job Duties
- Develops and implements effective recruiting strategies for technical roles.
- Executes end-to-end recruitment processes across diverse functions and levels.
- Cultivates impactful relationships, exerts influence, provides guidance, and seamlessly communicates across organizational levels.
- Collaborates with various People & Talent colleagues on recruiting and staffing needs.
- Conducts consultative intake meetings, ensuring proactive communication with timely status updates, assesses challenges and drives solution-oriented results.
- Sources internal talent to meet staffing requirements.
- Utilizes external market data, engages with vendors, leverages diverse sourcing channels, and embraces technology to build and sustain external talent pipelines.
- Identifies opportunities for refining recruitment processes and optimizing the use of sourcing tools.
- Thrives in a performance-driven environment.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of full cycle recruiting
- Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations, including EEO requirements
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Knowledge and experience using sourcing tools.
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to apply mature and discrete thinking/problem solving/decision-making and actions in a variety of situations.
- Working knowledge of recruiting and sourcing tools, including ATS, job boards, LinkedIn, etc.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook to with scheduling/managing calendars.
- Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships across the University.
- Ability to utilize industry trends to develop innovative recruiting practices and strategies.
- Understanding of compensation philosophies and job leveling.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field
- 4 years of progressive full cycle recruitment experience, specializing in a diverse range of roles, levels, and complexity.
- 1 year of experience recruiting for technical roles.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates and leveraging sourcing tools.
- Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.
