Director of Quality

PURPOSE: The Quality Director is responsible for leading and managing the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of quality systems and processes throughout our organization. The ideal candidate ensures that the company meets quality standards set by regulatory and customer requirements. This position is also responsible for ensuring that quality practices are in compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and procedures.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES:

• Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and objectives to ensure goals are achieved
• Develop and implement industry-specific quality standards to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team
• Utilize statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in processes
• Analyze and report on quality metrics, trends, and performance
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to standards
• Monitor supplier performance and evaluate supplier auditing processes
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and external parties
• Develop and implement quality training programs

 

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (include experience required with specific software applications, equipment, or specific certifications and education requirements such as MSME, MSEE, APICS, etc)

PREFERRED Qualifications (nice to have skills): · Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Education or Training: BS degree with 10+ years CM experience
