Junior Merchant Acquisition Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Junior Merchant Acquisition Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and managing merchants to strengthen our network and deliver strong commercial value. You will be responsible for building long-term partnerships and ensuring that our merchants are equipped with the right tools, insights, and strategies to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants across relevant sectors.
• Develop and present merchant value propositions tailored to specific business needs.
• Create impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate merchant value propositions and business insights effectively.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing merchants, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Work closely with internal teams to optimize merchant onboarding, activation, and engagement.
• Support campaign and promotional activities to drive merchant performance and growth.
• Prepare and analyze merchant performance reports using Microsoft Excel to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of merchant-related initiatives.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience in Merchant Management, Business Development, or Account Management.
• Strong understanding of merchant value propositions and how to communicate them effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint for developing professional presentations and proposals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and performance reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Preferably based in Klang Valley and familiar with the local business landscape.
