About the role

Company Description

We are currently seeking a Senior HR Director for our client that will lead their HR function and support their diverse and dynamic workforce. This is a hybrid role working 3 days in our Tampa FL office. THe ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity & be a builder and driver!

As the Senior HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management across multiple sites with a geographically dispersed workforce. Your role will be critical in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with our business objectives, foster employee engagement, and drive a positive workplace culture.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's growth and performance goals.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the overall business strategy.
  2. Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent across multiple locations.
    • Implement effective onboarding and retention strategies to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce.
    • Develop talent management programs to identify and nurture high-potential employees.
  3. Employee Relations and Compliance:
    • Serve as a resource for HR issues, addressing employee concerns, and resolving conflicts.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across various regions and sites.
    • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that reflect legal requirements and company values.
  4. Performance Management:
    • Design and implement performance management systems to assess and improve employee performance.
    • Foster a culture of continuous feedback, coaching, and professional development.
  5. Benefits and Compensation:
    • Manage employee benefit programs and compensation structures to attract and retain talent.
    • Evaluate and adjust total rewards packages based on market trends and company goals.
  6. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and design development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Promote a learning culture that empowers employees to grow within the organization.
  7. Diversity and Inclusion:
    • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive workplace.
    • Monitor and report on diversity-related metrics and progress.
  8. Change Management:
    • Lead HR-related change management initiatives and guide the organization through transitions.
    • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement during change processes.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience implementing HR Programs such as Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Training & Development, etc. at multi-site, multi state companies.
  • Merger & Acquisition experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • HR leadership experience, including at least 5-8 years in a senior HR role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance issues across various regions.
  • Proven experience managing HR functions for geographically dispersed workforces.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
