Located in the upscale Eixample District in the heart of Barcelona, Galderma’s Global Capability Center offers numerous possibilities for professional development such as exposure to global and cross-functional projects and access to global career opportunities.</p><p></p><p>Job Title: Global Master Data Expert</p><p>Location: Barcelona</p><p></p><p><u>Job Description</u></p><p>Global Master Data Expert's core mission is to execute data governance activities across the whole Galderma's organization for the data scope within her/his remit. This includes data related activities from data definitions, data flow management through different systems, data owners, users and data consumers support cross organization, supervision of data quality and execution of data governance processes.</p><p></p><p><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></p><p></p><p>User support and Data Governance execution</p><ul><li><p>Support the definition of the enterprise data governance framework and implement it for Master and Reference data.</p></li><li><p>Apply Galderma data governance model to ensure clear accountability for ownership and stewardship of the assigned Master or Reference data.</p></li><li><p>Serves as first line support for Master and Reference data governance within her/his remit in all data quality and protection issues.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with business and functional area owners to improve the quality and value of core data assets.</p></li><li><p>Support Data Operational team and Data Decision makers involving resources from the business, functional areas, and IT to achieve their objectives. Resolve issues escalated to the data governance representatives. Ensure that training documents are up to date and provide training as required.</p></li><li><p>Propose and support communication strategies to enhance the company-wide understanding of the importance of proper data management.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Data Quality assurance</p><ul><li><p>Define data policies, standards, and practices, in alignment with the impacted functions to achieve the required level of data quality (Completeness, Consistency and Accuracy) and data protection, to meet the overall business needs.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the definition of performance indicators and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Data model, data dictionary management</p><ul><li><p>Develop &amp; maintain inventory of the enterprise master data maps, including authoritative systems, owners, stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Act as business owner of Master and Reference data dictionary and business data model, working closely with IT and business stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and streamline the expense related to those services.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Data change management and improvement</p><ul><li><p>Supervise and coordinate change requests related to data, align with stakeholders in prioritization, solution definition and implementation.</p></li><li><p>Lead/support data migration, the data feed of new or changed applications or in case of acquisitions.</p></li
