At Apex, you don’t just join a company, you help shape what comes next.<br></span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p></div><p>As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an <strong>Environmental Engineer with hands-on remediation experience</strong> who is ready to take ownership of complex soil and groundwater projects and grow alongside a national firm, supporting work based out of our southern California office.</p> <p><strong><u>What You’ll Do:</u></strong></p> <p>In this role, you’ll be directly involved in the design, operation, and optimization of soil and groundwater remediation systems, including:</p> <ul> <li>Support and lead soil and groundwater remediation projects from field execution through reporting, working under the oversight of a senior Professional Engineer and in concert with our engineering and field technician team</li> <li>Oversee operation and maintenance (O&amp;M) of remediation systems such as:</li> <ul> <li>Groundwater extraction and treatment</li> <li>Soil vapor extraction</li> <li>Thermal oxidizers and related treatment technologies</li> </ul> <li>Support and assist with remedial system design, modifications, and performance evaluations and optimization</li> <li>Oversee field work to ensure compliance with work plans, permits, and project specifications</li> <li>Oversee compliance with applicable regulations (AQMD, SWPPP, WDR, hazardous materials/waste, etc.)</li> <li>Provide oversight and di
