Finance Quality Assurance Manager

The Finance Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for executing the quality assurance plan to ensure that Citi’s businesses and products are reported in compliance with local regulatory reporting requirements. You should also have a good understanding of the relevant regulations and be able to perform testing.

In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:

• Design workplans and perform periodic monitoring and review of regulatory rules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Lead and direct a team of professionals and manage their quality assurance reviews

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues, multiple departments

• Present results/findings to senior management

• Work closely with all functions/products/business units in performing activities

• Help in the design of a remediation plan to address issues identified during the validation

• Perform periodic testing and validation of EMEA Local Regulatory Reporting rules and requirements with key focus on CRR/Basel regulations, in line with reporting instructions and in line with the framework of the Quality Assurance program

• Production and delivery of reports and memos based on the results of testing / validation exercises noted above

• Maintenance and further enhancement of control environment applicable to the framework and infrastructure of the Quality Assurance program

• Check whether procedures, process notes and policies are up-to-date and applied correctly to cover relevant rules and regulations

• Participate in projects to implement any new or changing regulatory requirements and enhancing the Quality Assurance team’s framework and infrastructure

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience in financial, regulatory or risk reporting / auditing roles

• Fluency in English

• The role will involve extensive interaction with the Regulatory reporting team and a variety of other functions, so the candidate will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to interpret the regulations and build offline models to compare to production regulatory rules and calculations

• Strong professional with in-depth knowledge of Finance processes and controls

• Displays clear accountability and ownership of issues

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently

• Ability to manage teams

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
