As a Senior Software Engineer at Publishing.com, you’ll design and implement technical solutions that enhance our AI-driven features and user experience. Depending on your experience and interest, we are flexible and you could work on back end, front end, or full stack solutioning. Regardless of what you are building, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications and drive key initiatives. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly scalable web applications using our tech stack: TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt.js, AWS, Heroku, and CI/CD pipelines
• Propose, design, and implement technical solutions with a strong focus on AI-driven features and an exceptional user experience for our unique user base
• Collaborate with engineers through design and code reviews to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions
• Work closely with design, product, and marketing teams to gather requirements and deliver user-centric features
• Clearly communicate project progress and outcomes with stakeholders to align goals and expectations
• Drive projects aggressively to completion, consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines
• Develop and integrate data-oriented solutions to optimize user experience and drive business profitability

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years as a Software Engineer, preferably at a fast-growing startup
• Technical Expertise: Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python, with experience using Next.js and Nuxt.js frameworks
• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational, non-relational, and in-memory databases
• Development Practices: Proficiency with Git, agile development methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; familiarity with Terraform or other IaC solutions; and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and SRE best practices
• Leadership: Strong sense of ownership with experience leading engineering teams preferred
• Communication: Exceptional ability to inspire, motivate, and align technical and non-technical teams, even in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
• Problem-Solving: Proven track record of tackling complex challenges and delivering impactful solutions

Expected Base Compensation

$140,000 - $160,000 USD Annually + Bonus
