Job Description:

Microchip Technology is looking to add a Software Engineer II (SQL Developer) to their current team as the group expands its responsibilities to new offshore locations.  This role would be primarily involved in ERP/WIP system integrations, but would also require support for Test systems.

Responsibilities:

• SQL (Conformance) - Update and maintain existing SQL functions and procedures for Conformance process
• Data Backup - Bring back data test data for yield analysis and FAs.  Improve transfer methods from suppliers
• HSM (Security Server) - Build servers to support testing of G4/G5/G5SOC/RTPF.   Oversee installation of Servers in MTAI
• HSM (Cisco SPPS Programming) - Support Cisco SPPS programming and the new methodology regarding HSMs.  Develop and implement a plan to program using multiple tickets. Build additional servers as necessary
• MCHP Info Integration - Ongoing integration projects, specifically interfaces and Info applications.  Using Vb.NET and C# develop web services to communicate with ERP and new WIP system

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science with 2.5+ years of experience
• Transactional SQL
• Experience in PowerShell and vbscript needed to automate server activities
• Visual Basic 6.0 for test floor automation
• Visual Basic .NET/C# web services and cryptology
• Perl/Python for data management
• Familiarity with server Operating System installations (Windows 2012 and newer)
• Active Directory (Basic)
• DHCP/DNS – troubleshoot basic issues
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required
