Analyst, Business Management

Tower Research Capital LLC, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm, seeks a motivated Analyst to join its New York-based Business Management (Americas) team.

The role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to gain experience in a growing industry, to collaborate with the firm’s senior management and traders, and to develop his or her own skills and market knowledge. This role offers many opportunities for professional development in a quickly growing firm.

Responsibilities

The Analyst will report to Tower’s Managing Director of Business Management (Americas). He or she will work closely with the firm’s senior management on a variety of tasks, including:

• Helping support the day-to-day business operations of Tower’s securities trading in the Americas region
• Expanding Tower’s participation on Americas-based trading venues
• Managing relationships with banks, trading venues and brokers
• Executing strategic priorities for Tower’s business
• Market trend and regulatory research
• Organizing administrative records necessary to support trading
• Completing other tasks as assigned by senior management

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a motivated college graduate or have 1-2 years of professional experience in a related field (e.g bank, trading venue, or a trading firm), a track record of success, and a bachelor’s or advanced degree from a top university. He or she will also have:

• Understanding of trading technology and fluency discussing technical concepts 
• Analytical abilities and strong communication skills
• An interest in financial markets and electronic trading
• A demonstrated capacity to work independently and as a team member
• Programming skills are not a requirement, but experience with Python or other analytical tools like Tableau is a plus

Anticipated annual base salary range is $90,000-$105,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus.
