The Nurse Manager, LPN reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for directing and supervising overall resident care. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs and supervises facility staff to maintain quality care of residents.
• Monitors and manages systems as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
• Completes assigned documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Assumes duties of charge nurse as needed.
• Monitors staffing needs for resident care.
• Ensures supplies are available for resident needs.
• Follows up with concerns of residents/families, staff and visitors in absence of DON.
• Complies with all established policies and procedures.
• Promotes and demonstrates positive customer service towards VHS, co-workers, residents and visitors.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and holds current Virginia license.
• Experience/education in Gerontological Nursing required.
• Computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret information.
