What you'll do

Docusign has a dedicated Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) that delivers enterprise-grade AI and automation solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure AI/Document Intelligence. As a Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will be a key contributor in scaling Docusign’s enterprise-wide Intelligent Automation capabilities. You will work at the intersection of business, engineering, and AI to design, build, and operate resilient automation solutions that drive measurable business outcomes with the mix of development and support work.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Principal Automation Engineering Manager.

 

Responsibility

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (business stakeholders, product managers, enterprise architects, security) to define automation roadmaps and source use cases

  • Architect end-to-end automation solutions across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to coding to deployment and support

  • Review technical designs, estimates, and solution feasibility

  • Provide hands-on coding/ technical support during US PDT hours including month end and quarter ends

  • Maintain and evolve the automation platform roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders and delivery partners

  • Oversee IPA platform performance, solution maintenance, and reporting hubs

  • Own design principles, architecture standards, and coding best practices for the UiPath/Power Automate platform

  • Manage technical infrastructure setup for new capabilities in UiPath Platform

  • Set up monitoring and alert mechanisms

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, architecture, and governance standards

  • Ensure long-term stability and effectiveness of automation solutions

  • Enforce coding standards, security practices, and compliance requirements

  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment seamlessly

  • Manage Quarterly and yearly Internal/External Audit, ITGC, User Access review tasks

  • Explore and integrate hyperautomation technologies including AI/ML, intelligent document processing, and process mining

  • Lead proof-of-concepts for new automation capabilities and platforms

  • Communicate technical findings and solution recommendations effectively using presentations and visualizations

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously upskill through certifications and training

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $157,500.00 - $254,350.00 base salary

 

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
