Summary:

Our Enterprise Data and Analytics team is growing, and we’re looking for an outstanding Metadata and Data Quality Product Owner to join our team. This Product Owner will play a pivotal role in driving the technology and metadata operation enhancements for data governance throughout Huntington Bank. The Metadata team’s experience in all phases of the data lifecycle and collaboration will facilitate the transformation of Huntington’s data strategy and support the data users’ business needs. The Product Owner will prioritize work essential to document our data lineage, metadata that improves our ability to report on progress, and enhancements to our tooling. Here at Huntington Bank, we want Product Owners wo drive solutions that better serve our customers, support our communities, and make our colleagues' lives better. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous Improvement of the metadata and reference data repositories to meet the needs of stakeholders.
• Manage the diagnosis of issues with existing platform configurations and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Lead internal groups in resolving data concerns. 
• Update metadata and reference data repositories where appropriate based on input from technical or business stakeholders
• Use business acumen and functional stakeholder input to recommend and implement process improvements supporting Critical Data Element certification as part of a federated Data Governance team
• Build strong working relationships throughout the enterprise.
• Serve as a functional expert on our metadata management and data quality tools, while communicating with other teams via robust data storytelling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:     

• Bachelor’s degree in business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering
•  7+ years of demonstrated experience working with or in business operations and reporting processes, and translating business data needs into technical language and partnering with IT teams
• to ensure effective QA/UAT of solution delivery 3+ years of experience leading colleagues/work efforts and managing toward deadlines
• CSPO certification

• Collaborative, team-focused, delivery experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and partnership skills
• Demonstrated experience with data management concepts including data governance, data lineage, metadata, data quality, master data management, reference data management 
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
• Experience with Metadata and Data Quality tools such as Rochade, Becubic, Data Intelligence, Collibra, Informatica, Anomalo
• Financial Services background
