KPI Specialist

Position Summary

KPI Specialist is responsible all inventory control management system, utilizing information to secure all materials needed for production. They are responsible for Investigating variances between physical counts and GMES and / or SAP.

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyzing material requirements using Physical Counts and Production Plan while utilizing the system to order all materials and components from internal/external warehouse as required for production.
• Enter all production losses using “Unplanned GI”  and / or GI Pending request process. Once approved, process through system.
• Communicate with Purchasing for any shortages seen for production needs. 
• Manage any defective material received from the vendor through the RMA process to Purchasing Team 
• Investigate and define root causes for inventory variances and report findings to designated Supervisor/Part Leader
• Create and Submit PUMI’s for any materials, equipment or other needs of the department.                                                                                                                                                   
• Perform other duties, as required by the Supervisor/MIP Part Leader or MIP Group Leader. 
• Input information in GMES: Work Calendar, Worker Registration and Certification, Scrap, etc.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Education: Minimum: High School Diploma or General Education Development Equivalency (GED) 
2. Experience:  3 years’ experience with SAP system or Inventory Management System.
3. Knowledge: Knowledge of Inventory Control Management Systems. 
4. Skills: Excellent Communication skills(Verbal and Written), Problem Solving Ability, MS Office, and ERP Systems  (GMES-PM/RM/SAP)                                             5. Physical Demands:
• Frequently required to sit, stand and walk.  
• Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. 
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
6 . Domestic role. No direct interaction with HQ or region.
