Our dedicated team supports individuals with mental health, psychiatric, or other complex needs to overcome challenges, build skills, and live a full, meaningful life.<br/><br/><br/>SUMMARY<br/>This position oversees delivery of consumer support services for an Intensive Rehabilitation Treatment Program. Supervises personnel to achieve service, clinical, and financial objectives within general resources and reimbursement models. This position will provide and develop clinical services that promote consumer choice and facilitate independence for adult individuals with mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.<br/><br/>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<br/>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.<br/><br/> • Clinical over-site of all services at a set location<br/> • In charge of organizing admissions and discharges<br/> • Conducting Assessments (ex. Diagnostic, LOCUS, Mental Health Review, Suicidal, and evaluation level of danger/risk)<br/> • Interprets and summaries findings with recommended treatment/rehabilitation activities and goals<br/> • Hires new employees and warranting of corrective actions when needed<br/> • Over-sees Case Coordination and the development of the individual treatment/rehabilitation plan<br/> • Prevents crisis at the lowest level of escalation<br/> • Provide direct service to clients<br/> • On-Call Duties<br/> • Weekly supervision with direct reports<br/> • Conduct weekly staff meeting for location<br/> • Utilize behavior management strategies<br/> • Ensures quality assurance including person served outcomes and service outcomes<br/> • Oversee compliance with locations license and CARF accreditation<br/> • Maintains competent and effective personnel at budgeted staffing patterns and salary ranges<br/> • Willing to help others<br/> • Write progress notes, summaries, and discharges as needed<br/> • Medication Administration<br/> • Assist in the development and execution of the annual budget and program contract within the county time frame<br/> • Recognizes responsibility to meet bed utilization goals<br/> • Manages program budget for household expenditures<br/> • Flexible and effectively utilizes time.<br/> • Handles information in a confidential manner<br/> • Communicates in an open and honest manner<br/> • Notifies proper authorities of circumstances or situations that present possible health hazards<br/> • Observes and implements established policies on health, safety, security, code of conduct, regulation, and company policies<br/> • Ensures all documentation is completed as required.<br/> • Reports significant / major incidents or accidents<br/> • Cooperates in external / internal investigations as requested<br/> • Establishes high levels of mutual trust and support with others<br/> • Provides coaching/learning environment<br/> • Identifies successes and areas for improvement for employees<br/> • Expresses positive expectations of others, even in difficult situations<br/> • Delegates tasks or responsibilities for the purpose of developing other’s abilities<br/> • Rewards good performance and promotes employee recognition<br/> • Provides clinical training to new/transferring employees. Develops and implements staff training programs designated to meet staff educational needs, licensing standards and consumer needs<br/> • Encourages staff to report issues of non-compliance through appropriate channels<br/> • Conduct Employee evaluations when scheduled<br/> • Provides clinical direction to program staff<br/> • Provides and develops clinical services that promote consumer choice and facilitates independence<br/> • Supervises operations to ensure compliance with contractual, legal and regulatory requirements<br/> • Provides clinical input and supervision in treatment and plan development<br/> • Performs other duties designed to improve employee effectiveness as a member of the team, promoting the operation in a positive manner to the community and outside agencies<br/> • Promotes/encourages community integration and choice making<br/> • Provides the necessary clinical management for the day-to-day operations of the program and maintenance of the location<br/> • Other duties as assigned<br/><br/>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES<br/>Manages assigned personnel. Completes performance evaluations, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions.
