Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner to become part of the Supply Chain Engineering team in Dallas, TX.
Supply Chain Engineering is a fairly new organization whom mission is to focus on providing world class engineering support and parts to ensure the successful operations of our Commercial and Government customers. The Manufacturing Planner role will serve as First Responders to customers by providing liaison support on issues and concerns that arise around planning efforts. This role is a (3) shift operation supporting 24x7.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers by evaluating and resolving complex customer spares procurement issues.
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, standards, regulations, and data from multiple sources to develop recommendations and best approach to meet customer requirements.
- Communicate directly with customer to provide education and clarification to support a wide range of technical issues.
- Team with other Boeing groups to provide solutions to complex technical issues surrounding airline spares and maintenance requirements.
- Provide resolution for incoming requests for assistance.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Dallas, TX).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience supporting the development of the engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- 3+ years of experience in using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Must possess experience in problem solving.
- Experience in the aerospace manufacturing build process and design.
- Experience in Lean processes and implementation.
- Experience working in both a development and sustaining program environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Systems/Tools including: SAP, SAP-CRM, PDM, REDARS, PSDS, Maintenance Performance Toolbox, Part Wizard, GoPartsGo, WIRS, BEAR, Bridge, ACMS.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of part certification processes.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
