Autonomous Flight Software Engineer

We are designing our next generation aiEVTOL and growing a team of world-class aviation professionals. We are seeking self-driven, passionate, and experienced professionals to join our team. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Work with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to implement and integrate state of the art autonomous flight algorithms derived from world-class research.
• Integrate autonomous flight software components.
• Conduct autonomous flight software bench/lab verification.
• Integrate and test existing and new methods for perception, state estimation, mapping, and planning of aerial robots.
• Create, design autonomous flight development and testing kits, tools, and scripts for sensor calibration, time synchronization, data visualization, and training data processing, etc.
• Test and validate autonomous flight hardware and software integration for AIBOT’s aircraft and drone products.
• Develop software/scripts to connect autonomous flight system with aircraft systems and ground test center.
• Develop autonomous flight software application based on the product features requirements.
• Write autonomous flight software performance report scripts based on product performance analysis definitions.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience in UAV or Robotics related engineering.
• Familiar with sensor bring up, wiring, debug, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Experience in Deep learning.
