Delivery Manager
INDGAbout the role
Are you ready to drive impactful projects and build strong client relationships with some of the world's biggest brands?
As INDG’s software branch, Grip simplifies content production by combining CGI, rule-based generative AI, and post-production into an easy-to-use content generator that transforms master ad creatives into infinite variations for clients that include The Coca-Cola Company, L'Oréal, LVMH, Pernod Ricard, and Beiersdorf.
Grip is split up in several hierarchical and functional departments. The “vertical” or client/account structure has an end-to-end responsibility for the client relations that fall within the client-portfolio of the vertical. The core responsibilities of a vertical are “happy clients” while running a healthy business, which in return should lead to growth of the vertical. These responsibilities heavily rely on running a top-notch delivery organisation, that demonstrate, responsiveness and high quality as well as high consistency in rapid deliveries, to the clients.
Our clients may expect reliable and first-class services, whether they be self-service driven products or templates on Grip, or managed service final assets. In all cases, the vertical is comprised of several distinct roles.
At the head of the vertical is the Vertical Lead/Client Director, commercially and operationally, ultimately responsible for the client health and happiness.
The Vertical Lead defines the Vertical’s strategy, supports the customers from an account management perspective and grows the vertical. In order to do so, the Vertical Lead is supported by Delivery Manager(s) who make sure that the delivery organization runs smoothly and is operated in a responsible way. Supporting the Delivery Manager, are three categories:
Client-facing project managers (responsible for the bulk of production coordination, client communication, alignment, approval, reporting, financials, etc.)
Internal project managers / asset producers, and project support. (Ensuring delivery lives up to the set standards, briefings are correct and standardized, priorities are set and timelines, throughput and estimates clearly communicated through to the different people in the vertical)
The production teams, who make sure that Grip set-up tasks (shape creation, template creation, etc.) are properly organized and executed.
Depending on the vertical, the roles may warrant Senior and Junior roles respectively.
What You'll Do:

You plan ahead, hire accordingly, focus on the weaknesses, prioritize the most urgent topics, think in solutions and be a source of inspiration for the team surrounding you.
Team Coordination and Leadership: You coordinate and guide a team of project managers, leaders and supporters. You facilitate communication and make sure that everyone is working towards the same goals. You train, coach, manage and inspire the client-facing and internal project-team, so that this is a team that you can blindly rely on and steer towards success. To do so you organize meetings and standups, resolve any conflicts and issues in the team and use their feedback to improve internal and external processes.
Planning and scheduling: You set the stage for successful project management and establish standards and processes that all team-members can implement and follow. You implement a reporting structure that allows you to maintain overview and identify the projects or areas that need your attention
Stakeholder Management: You manage all internal and external stakeholders (client, higher management, etc.) by maintaining clear and effective communication and using your negotiation skills when needed. You set and manage the expectations of all stakeholders and ensure that the expectations are met.
Risk and Issue management: You pro-actively identify risk that could put any of the running projects in danger. From plans/plannings to skills or the availability of features/functionality… anything that might put committed deliveries at risk, you manage as if the health of your little company depends on it. You align with the involved stakeholders, make agreements and when things are starting to get out of hand, if really needed, you start and manage an escalation with the involved stakeholders
