POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Hematology/Oncology Chemotherapy department provides advanced, specialized nursing care to patients undergoing complex cancer treatments. This role is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering chemotherapy and supportive therapies, and monitoring patients for treatment responses and adverse reactions. The RN collaborates closely with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, evidence based care and optimal patient outcomes. In addition to direct clinical responsibilities, the RN contributes to departmental operations through patient education, coordination of care, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards. This position requires strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to support patients and families through emotionally challenging diagnoses and treatments.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Graduation certificate from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) school of nursing, required
• Current state RN licensure, required
• Chemotherapy experience, required
• IV certification, preferred
• BLS/CPR certification, preferred

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
