Ubiqus is seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized Accounts Receivable Clerk for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization by performing the following duties. This position is a Hybrid role, requiring attendance 3 days per week (M-W-F) in the NYC office.
Requirements
- Prepares invoices and reconciles invoice records with internal company employees or/and customers (25%)
- Applies customer payments and adjustments (Check, ACH, Wires) (25%)
- Works on collections and delinquent accounts with customers (30%)
- Performs AR reconciliations and resolves payment discrepancies (10%)
- Prepares manual deposits (5%)
- Generates accounts receivable status reports (5%)
- Assists with monthly closings and special projects, as necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Associate Degree or Work experience in related field preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in an Accounting related position.
- Needs to have a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a multitude of projects at once.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills, including email and correspondence etiquette.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs, as well as strong in basic math.
- Thorough knowledge of accounts receivable and other accounting functions.
- Ability to create routine reports.
- Required Proficiency in Microsoft Word and, Excel.
- Knowledge in accounting software (QuickBooks) or similar tool.

Salary Range: $45K-$60K dependent upon qualifications and experience.
