Senior ISC Project Manager

As the Senior Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Project Manager you will have responsibility and accountability for overall project results and achievement of project goals/objectives as they relate to the business opportunity. You will have experience in all project phases including Front End Loading, Design, Procurement, Construction, and Start-up. Projects requiring this level of leadership are regional in nature and are quite significant in size and/or complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as the leader of the project team accountable for project results and for the implementation of and adherence to all relevant work processes.
• Develops project scope the meets the needs of the business opportunity and ensures stakeholders are aligned upon the scope through functional reviews.
• Ensures cost estimate adequately represents project scope and managing spending within the authorized budgets and spending plans.
• Works closely with business leadership to secure funding through the authorization process.
• Ensures project schedule is based upon sound data and aligned with business objectives. Monitors progress closely against baseline plans.
• Ensures plans are in place to allow for smooth transition of the project to ISC.
• Works with department leaders to secure lead resources and once assigned ensures staffing plans are developed and monitored against plan.
• Provides effective communication and coordination between the project team and key stakeholders. Provides regular updates on scope, objectives/goals, cost, progress vs. plan and risks.
• Uses and enforces project change management program including securing DOA approvals per the process.

Qualifications:

• Must have one or more of the following:

  • 8 or more years of experience in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing Environment

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other Sciences

  • Relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking

• 5+ of experience in manufacturing project management or other relevant experience

• Must have or able to obtain Dow PMEC PM (Project Management Expertise Center) certification within two years.

• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
