About the role

Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.


End-to-End family (E2E) comprises the support of customers across different Business Units/Business Groups as needed, in line with contractual service agreements and internal Nokia stakeholders in pre- and post-sales activities with technical and non-technical topics. Ensures readiness of service delivery and covers the provision of recommendations to product houses on design for serviceability aspects. Contains escalation of key issues to appropriate functions.

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.  Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

As MEA FN team as part of the Customer Engineering organization in the Network Infrastructure Business Center, we design, validate solutions, we drive first off integrations of Nokia FN solutions on customer networks and we introduce the latest network technologies to our customers.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

Perform a customer facing technical project management function and take ownership and responsibility of complete technical project cycle starting from NPI to final acceptance: 

Manage time, resource, budget and technical aspects of new product introduction (NPI), system integration and commissioning (I&C), multivendor Integration (MVI) testing, Interoperability testing (IOT), HW/ SW upgrades, and system customer acceptance

Liase with subject matter experts (SMEs), and product line managers (PLM) to coordinate delivery of solution to the project team and customer. You will coordinate with technical pre-sales teams to clarify the scope of deliver and committed features are available 

Deliver leadership, due diligence, planning, risk analysis and mitigation, reporting and coordination functions. Be able to apply knowledge of skills, processes, and tools to fulfil role and responsibilities.

Your skills and experience

You have: 

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering with majors in Telecommunications, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in the telecom industry

Prior Experience of technical management in a large organization and delivery of telecommunications projects, concept of Project management body of knowledge (PMbok) and a track record or owner ship and accountability 

Confidence to face customer in challenging and stressful situations and are able to work under restricted timelines 

Preferably prior hands-on experience with system and network configurations, integration, SW/HW upgrades and services migrations and acceptance process of technologies like xDSL, GPON, Wi-Fi and Fixed wireless Access etc. 

It would be nice if you also had:

PMP certification, Knowledge of ITSM, Agile practices 

Understanding of principles of IP switching and routing protocols, understanding of 5G technologies, Broad knowledge Linux and databases, scripting, VMWare and cloud technologies
