We are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in our Detroit office. Roland Berger is currently working in a hybrid environment.

This role will report to the Director of Finance and provides a great opportunity to grow your career and be part of a passionate team.

Job Description

• Responsible for the financial reporting and statement preparation of multiple entities in compliance with local accounting standards.
• Responsible for the general ledger accounting and maintenance of multiple entities, including accruals, posting of JE’s, and fixed assets.
• Responsible for the federal and state corporate tax positions and filings for multiple entities in US, Canada, and Mexico.
• Preparation of fiscal budgets and monthly cost forecasting
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Preparation of weekly liquidity forecasting
• Serve as the audit lead support for multiple entities
• Preparation and analysis of KPI operational reports
• Assist the Director of Finance with operational, administrative, and accounting tasks
• Manage accounting generalists
• Works with the broader accounting team on other accounting related topics as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Spanish a plus
